I know, I really need to see Amour. It's totally sitting on my computers hard drive. It doesn't get much more diverse than this category. As much as I would love to see Moonrise Kingdom take home an Oscar, I think this is a two horse race between Academy-darling Tarantino and Amour. I think this will be the best non-Foreign language place to award Amour. As long as Zero Dark Thirty wins nothing I'm happy.

I'd go with FLIGHT here being that I think it WILL win, DJANGO UNCHAINED should win but because of the controversy it probably won't be considered.
ReplyDeleteNo way Flight wins. No one is going to think back on that movie and remember ANY dialogue. The real travesty is Denzel is getting all of the acting love and no one noticed the completely scene-stealing performance by John Goodman.
ReplyDeleteI did, told you so long before you even saw the film. Not that I get to vote on these things. Screenplays ain't all about the dialogue, dude, but I won't pick a movie I haven't seen to win, that's for sure.
